FAQs
What are Osteopaths?
Osteopaths are the best hands-on practitioners with a minimum of 4 years full time training. Their focus is on making you feel better, restoring and maintaining your health, helping you to relax. We would like to make clear from the outset that we offer only health-based treatments.
Where are we located?
We do not have any in-call facilities for you to visit. We are a mobile osteopathic service operating in London zones 1, and 2. Our therapist will visit you at your home, hotel or office. If you would like to book a treatment and you are just outside this area, you will be charged just 30% extra on top of the initial price.
Can I book a session of treatments?
Of course, you can. However, you must book the therapist with some notice, because other clients might book before you.
What will I be treated on?
Our therapist is highly trained in performing excellent treatments on the massage couch. Our therapist will come to your house, office or hotel and will quickly set up the massage couch, ready to treat you.
Do I need to provide anything for the treatment?
We would like you ask you to provide your towelling for the osteopathic treatment as it is the most hygienic option.
What am I supposed to wear when I get a treatment?
For examination and treatment, you may be asked to undress down to your underwear. I would therefore recommend you wear appropriate undergarments or wear a pair of shorts to change into for your comfort.
I don’t want a certain area of my body to be touched
Fine. If you don’t like part of your body to be touched, just ask or inform your therapist to avoid that area. During your consultation, you will be asked for your informed consent regarding examination and/or treatment. You can withdraw your consent at any time without penalty to your care with us.
The pressure or the technique used is not right for me. What should I do?
Please feel free to inform the therapist. Just let them know immediately and they will be more than happy to adjust the technique or pressure to suit you. Osteopaths can adapt and use a wide range of techniques to reach the same goal, including cranial osteopathy, visceral osteopathy, muscle energy techniques, trigger point therapy, high-velocity low amplitude manipulations, and articulations.
How do I pay?
Please pay directly the therapist. Your home visit osteopath accept cash. He can also take payments by cards, cheques, online payments.
Are you available every day?
We are generally at your service 7 days a week, from 8 am until 10 pm. However, from time due to holidays or other bookings they might not be available
How much notice do you need before a booking?
We are proud of ourselves for arriving always on time. Please give us a minimum of two hours notice before your booking. In case of any delays, we will always inform you immediately.
How often should I receive a treatment?
The number of treatments and frequency of treatments depend on the symptoms that you present with. Our osteopaths are highly competent healthcare professionals and will advise you on the number of sessions and how often you will need treatment.
Are there any side effects I should be aware of?
Soreness can occur up to 24 or 48 hours and this is normal as it is part of the healing process. If you have any queries or concerns, please contact your therapist anytime.
